(Eastaboga, AL – March 10, 2026) – The wait is almost over for race fans in Northeast Mississippi as Pine Ridge Speedway in Baldwyn, Mississippi officially launches its 2026 racing season this Saturday night, March 14, kicking off a full slate of dirt-flying action at “The Ridge.”
Drivers from across Mississippi and the surrounding region are expected to invade the popular oval for the season opener, bringing nine divisions of racing to the track for what promises to be an exciting night of competition.
Headlining the program will be several divisions competing under the Crate Racin’ USA sanction, including the CRUSA Dirt Late Models (604's), CRUSA Late Model Sportsman (602's), CRUSA Modified Sportsman, and CRUSA Street Stocks. These classes will be competing for valuable national points in the 2026 Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA season.
Also scheduled to compete on opening night are Factory Stocks, Hot Shots, Vintage Outlaws, Pure Street, and Crown Vic, providing fans with a wide variety of racing from traditional grassroots stock cars to vintage open-wheel machines.
Before the green flag drops on Saturday night, teams will have an opportunity to prepare their cars during Practice Night at The Ridge on Friday, March 13. The session will run from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM, giving drivers valuable track time to dial in their setups before the season opener.
Pit passes for practice will be $25, while kids 10 and under will be admitted free, and grandstand admission for practice night will also be free, giving fans a chance to get their first look at the 2026 race cars up close.
The 2026 season schedule at Pine Ridge Speedway features a number of marquee events throughout the year including the Eddie Alexander Memorial Super Late Model event in June, the Rumble at the Ridge in July, the 604 Battle at the Ridge in August, and the Halloween at the Ridge finale in October.
With weekly racing programs, special events, and multiple CRUSA divisions scheduled throughout the season, Pine Ridge Speedway is preparing for another exciting year of grassroots dirt racing in Baldwyn.
