(Eastaboga, AL - October 10, 2024) – The inaugural Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Late Model Sportsman Tour will conclude its thrilling season with a dramatic finale at Cherokee Speedway, "The Place Your Mama Warned You About," on Sunday, November 17th with the 33rd Annual Blue Grey. With the series entering its final event, the championship battle is tighter than ever, as only 12 points separate the top three drivers in the standings.
The 2024 season has seen fierce competition, with a total of eight races already completed, and Bryson Mitchell (Russelville, AL) standing as the only driver to claim multiple victories. Mitchell’s most recent win came just last weekend at Pine Ridge Speedway in Baldwyn, MS, his first win came in May at the Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS.
Championship Chase Comes Down to the Wire
Heading into the final race of the season, Huntsville, Alabama's Logan Bradford holds the slim points lead, with just 6 points separating him from second-place Chase Giddens of Moultrie, GA, and 12 points over third-place Caleb Ashby of Cunningham, TN. With the championship on the line, all three drivers are poised for an unforgettable showdown at Cherokee Speedway.
Bradford, who has shown consistent speed throughout the season, will be looking to secure his first series title, while Giddens and Ashby will be chasing their own dreams of capturing the crown in this highly competitive inaugural season.
The stakes couldn’t be higher, as the race at Cherokee Speedway will not only crown the 2024 series champion but will also see challengers from all over the region as the event will be co-sanctioned by the Mid-East 602 Late Models.
